Hi, I'm Ben
For more than 20 years, I have been passionately studying Scripture, human behaviour, relationships, and the dynamics that shape how people connect with one another.
Over the past 15 years, I have worked alongside individuals, couples, families, and professionals, helping them navigate complex relational challenges, overcome obstacles, and build healthier, more meaningful connections. My background includes counselling, coaching, mentoring, teaching, mediation, professional supervision, and seminar facilitation across a wide range of personal and professional settings.

My experience includes:
• Over 20 years of personal biblical study, teaching, mentoring, and exposition
• More than 15 years of counselling, coaching, and supporting people through life and relationship challenges
• 10 years as a Disability Employment Consultant, providing coaching, guidance, and personal development support to people from diverse backgrounds
• Developing and facilitating seminars on interpersonal skills, confidence, communication, and personal growth
• Lecturing in schools and educational settings on confidence, success, and personal development
• Leading and teaching within a Christian fellowship for the past five years
• A Postgraduate Qualification in Professional Supervision
• Writing, producing, and facilitating marriage seminars and relationship education programs
I believe the greatest strength I bring to counselling is the ability to quickly identify the deeper dynamics operating beneath the surface of a relationship.
Many people come to counselling focused on the argument they had last week, the communication breakdown they experienced yesterday, or the issue currently causing pain. Often, however, the real problem lies deeper. Over the years, I have found that many relationship struggles are not simply communication problems—they are misunderstandings, assumptions, unmet needs, and relational patterns that have quietly developed over time.
My passion is helping people uncover those deeper dynamics and replace unhelpful assumptions with practical, life-giving principles that restore understanding, trust, emotional safety, dignity, and connection. I believe relationships were designed by God to be enjoyed, not merely endured.
Whether I am working with an individual, a married couple, or a family navigating conflict, my goal is to create a space where people feel safe, heard, understood, and equipped with practical tools they can immediately apply to their lives.
People I have worked with often tell me that they finally feel understood, that they gain language for things they have never been able to explain before, and that they leave with greater clarity about both themselves and the people they love.
My desire is not simply to help people resolve conflict, but to help them understand one another more deeply, restore confidence in God's design for relationships, and build the kind of connection that lasts.
